September 2004 - Yellow Pages Online for SensisA joint team comprising Shine Technologies and Sensis IT staff has delivered what the CEO of Sensis, Andrew Day, described as the biggest advance in the site in 10 years. The increased functionality of the search system means that users can find better results faster than ever before. In addition, the new Map Based search allows users to find businesses based on a map of the area, a real step forward. Shine Technologies was proud to be part of this important project that delivered with high quality in short time frames. August 2004 - New MYER one Loyalty ProgrammeThrough our partnership with Loyalty Pacific (the company behind the Fly Buys loyalty programme) Shine Technologies has delivered the system behind the new loyalty programme launched by Myer (https://www.myerone.com.au/). The system allows Myer to offer exciting new benefits to their customers and gives them an edge in the increasingly competitive retail market. May 2004 - Sensis Direct AccessShine has delivered the second major stage of the Sensis Direct Access application to Sensis on time and on budget. This application is state of the art and includes several components including a Java Swing client, a Java API, SOAP Web Services and a full J2EE application server. The application puts powerful directory assistance functionality in the hands of Sensis clients who needs fast, scalable searching on White and Yellow Pages content. April 2002 - Network Billing Validation for TXU AustraliaTXU Australia is one of the major Retail and Distribution utilities in Australia. Shine Technologies has developed a Network Billing Validation application to meet the needs of the Australian Utilities market. As our first implementation site, we have been working closely with TXU Australia to deliver a world class application specifically for the Australian market. As owners of the intellectual property, Shine Technologies is now working hard to sell the application into the rest of the Australian market. July 2001 - Road Safety Equipment AustraliaRSEA is Australia's leading retailer of safety equipment. On July 2nd 2001, Shine Technologies helped RSEA to implement a new financials system - IFS - to meet the needs of this rapidly growing company. In addition, we helped them set up their first Point of Sale (POS) trial in their Dandenong Store. The implementation went in on time, and with minimal disruption to the company. This is the first phase of a significant effort to roll out barcode technologies in both Australia and New Zealand. January 2001 - RSEA IT StrategyPrior to our role in the IFS and POS implementation, Shine Technologies worked with RSEA to create an IT Strategy for the future. This roadmap sets out the corporate goals of RSEA, and how they will use technology to meet those goals. The strategy was delivered on time and with great approval. December 2000 - Pulse Energy Mass Market Energy QuotingPulse Energy is a Victorian Retailer of Gas and Electricity. On December 12th Shine Technologies completed a significant enhancement to UtiliQuote - a Mass Market Energy Quoting system which provides Pulse with the flexibility to quote to its customers in a rapidly changing market. The implementation was completed on time, with phased interim releases timed to provide Pulse with the functionality they needed to support a series of marketing campaigns. This was the latest in a series of successful UtiliQuote releases developed to support Pulse's ongoing quoting requirements. November 2000 - Spotlight Online Enfinity Web StoreSpotlight is Australia's largest fabric, craft and home interiors retailer. They needed an online presence for their hugely successful catalogue order business. Shine Technologies, in association with Wijojo, helped Spotlight Online to launch their first online web store. The rapid deployment allowed Spotlight Online to enter the market in time for the crucial Christmas period. The project delivered a large amount of functionality under extreme pressure to the delight of Spotlight Online management. November 2000 - Spotlight Online IFS ImplementationSpotlight Online needed an industrial strength financials, purchasing, warehouse management and customer order system. Shine Technologies in conjunction with IFS Australia, implemented the IFS system at Spotlight Online on time and with great success. The systems forms the backbone of the aggressive strategy adopted by Spotlight Online. |
