Shine Technologies has delivered one of the first native iPhone applications by an Australian company.

iZepto, a Web 2.0 timesheet system, now provides a free iPhone and iPod application for on the go time entry. Featuring a stylish multi-touch interface, users can now update their timesheets wherever they are quickly and easily. The application communicates in real time with the iZepto web application.

“The iZepto iPhone application has combined the power of the Internet with the simplicity of a Multi-Touch technology application.” stated Mark Johnson, Principal, Shine Technologies. “This is where mobile computing and Web 2.0 combine to deliver business benefit.”

Shine Technologies has deep experience in mobile computing applications. With the introduction of the Apple iPhone in June 2007 and the release of the iPhone SDK in February 2008, Shine recognised a platform that demanded attention. “The iPhone is a beautiful device, but businesses need to be aware that it is a powerful platform for delivering rich mobile applications” stated Mr Johnson.

iZepto iPhone is available via the iTunes Applications Store for free. Shine is currently in the process of developing several applications for the iPhone market in relation to ticketing and retail.
