iphone_app_browseShine Technologies is proud to announce the immediate availability of the Skeptical Science iPhone application on the iTunes App Store.  You can download it at http://itunes.com/apps/skepticalscience.

The Skeptical Science application was built pro bono for John Cook, the author of the www.skepticalscience.com website where his goal has been to "explain what peer reviewed science has to say about global warming".  We were blown away by the depth of content that John has put together as a labour of love.  The site allows you to easily review what the hard science says about arguments put forward by climate change skeptics.

Shine offered to build the iPhone application to help people take this wealth of knowledge with them wherever they are.  At the pub, at a dinner party or even at a debate.  Our aim was to make it easy to find a skeptical argument and pull up the hard facts.

iphone_app_reportA novel feature for the iPhone application is the ability to "Report" when you have heard or seen a skeptical argument.  This information is used to track the most used arguments and will be the basis of some cool new features in future versions.

All content on the application is synchronised with the skepticalscience.com website on a regular basis, and can work completely offline.

So please download the application and check out www.skepticalscience.com!
